Congratulations to our North East Employee of the Year Awards 2017 finalist, Peter!

Last year, we attended the North East Employee of the Year Awards as a guest but after an inspiring evening, we thought this year we would nominate one of our team members to win a prestigious award.

A company's success relies on the hard work and commitment of its employees, as they are the face of the business and they are the ones who take care of your customers’ needs. With all this in mind we knew our Senior Surveyor, Peter Wheldon, would be the perfect nominee to put forward for the Outstanding Service Award.

These awards aim to recognise the contribution employees make to a business and as a team, we knew that our longest serving staff member, Peter, deserved to be rewarded for his dedication to helping BCS Property Projects succeed.

Peter has been with us since we launched the firm in June 2011 and what an amazing six years it has been! We truly wouldn’t be where we are today without him.

With 40 years' experience of the property preservation industry, Peter is most certainly one of our most skilled and knowledgeable members of staff, not to mention he’s very popular with our clients.

Due to his kind nature, willingness to go above and beyond and his enthusiasm for his job, Peter offers an outstanding service to every one of his clients. He is more than willing to take time to book in regular meetings with his clients and most importantly he listens closely to them, to discover what their needs are.

With over 100 years of industry experience between the team’s senior surveyors, not only do we boast a wealth of knowledge of property issues, from damp proofing, rising damp control to cavity wall tie replacements to dry rot and radon gas treatment, but we also thrive on going that extra mile for our clients.

As a team, we share the same morals and values, which means we can deliver high quality services. We always bear in mind the client’s safety, so if we spot new problems while working on a project, we will tell the client and come up with an effective solution.

Working in a collaborative environment is a must for BCS Property Projects. Our team’s extensive knowledge means if someone is struggling with a job or needs advice, someone is always on hand to help.

As Peter has continued to go above and beyond throughout his career, we were thrilled to discover he had been shortlisted for in the North East Employee of the Year Awards’ Outstanding Service category!

Unfortunately, Peter didn’t win the award but nonetheless, we had a brilliant evening celebrating the fantastic work of the team as we wouldn’t have been able to achieve everything we have done so far without them.

We cannot thank our team enough for their dedication to BCS Property Projects and we are looking forward to seeing where we can take the business!
