Attending the UK Radon Symposium? We'll see you there!

We're delighted to be exhibiting at the UK Radon Symposium on Thursday March 15th, 2018.

Following the success of the inaugural symposium back in 2016, the event is back and is taking place at Balibrook House, Bath.

We will be exhibiting in the Exhibition Area, alongside many other radon specialists and industry experts.

As well as a range of exhibitors, the one-day symposium will bring together a panel of speakers from the UK, Europe and North America.

They'll be discussing the new UK National Radon Action Plan, the Ionising Radiations Regulations 2017, latest research into the health effects of radon exposure, strategies for promoting awareness and action, practical case studies and much more.

Aaron, our very own MD, is one of the speakers! He'll be discussing large-scale school radon testing and mitigation.

Trained by the Radon Council, Aaron recognises the dangers of radon and the severity of the problem in the UK. Although certain parts of the country are believed to be at greater risk from radon due to the underlying geology, any property, in any location can contain elevated levels of the deadly gas.

The only way to detect true levels of the gas is to place a detector in a property or business for a period of time. BCS Property Projects is able to supply radon test kits for homeowners and employers, as well as short-term screening kits for prospective buyers.

If high levels are detected, Aaron and our team of experts will design a system based upon the severity of the problem and the type of property.
